What is Pub Cup? Pub Cup is a video horse racing game, Pub Cup is based on an eight race program, the game takes approximately 2 hours
to run, and the races are taken from all different areas of Australia as well as different time periods, this makes the game a real memory
test as well.--------------------------- How does it work? When your customers make a purchase from the bar
or change booth your staff member hands them one $100 Pub Cup note. You start to hand out the money one week prior to the first race meet all instructions on how to play are printed on reverse side of money. All
the money your customers collect through out the week is used to bet on the races on the designated night. When your customers purchase any designated product from the bar your staff members hands them one $100 Pub Cup note per beer, if you have a drive through bottle shop or liquor
barn there is a $200 note that gets handed out with every purchase of your designated product, this is setup to promote people back into your bars. On the promotion day participating customers come
and look at that their selection on the screen, they make a bet example, they will say give me $100 on horse 3 Foxxx at 7-1 odds if horse 3 runs 1st you would give them $700 back plus their stake, 2nd place would
give them $350 3rd place would give them $175, they do not receive their stake money back for 2nd or 3rd place. At the end of the 8th race you should hold an auction, that is where you
punters would use their winnings to purchase prizes, it is advisable to run a normal auction then a random. A random auction is where you write an
amount on a raffle ticket then the customers try and guess that amount written on the ticket, this keeps the game fair for everyone playing, and has a tendency to short circuit domineering syndicates winning all the
prizes. It is advisable to have 5 to 6 auctions per
night with a minimum of 2 random. Auctions can be conducted as a normal auction or a mystery auction where your customers bid for a ticket, what ever is on the ticket is what they win, this way you can
incorporate a bogie prize it makes for great conversation afterwards. Prizes we recommend: Meal vouchers, Fishing gear, Liquor company materials, Crockery, Cutlery, Carton of Beer, Car care packs, Toys, Garden
accessories etc. --------------------------- How will Pub Cup benefit my establishment? Pub Cup works by increasing bar turnover during the week as well as the night it is run, your valued customers are
more likely to enjoy a few more cold drinks before they leave your establishment, in order to collect thier Pub Cup cash. Then comes race night everyone is keen to have a
bet on the races from the past, so they can win more Pub Cup cash, the more they win the more they can bid for in the auction
, this is held at the end of the night. During the night we also run
bar blitzes this is where the lucky punter's can collect more Pub Cup cash in a hurry, for every drink they purchase
they receive a bonus cheque the amount of money varies between $250 and $2500, this alone creates a huge surge in bar take alone. (or you can run a pokie promo for 10 minutes for every drop you might give away a cheque). |
